Rebuilding begins not with structures but with people. The foundation of a nation is the heart of its people, and when the people are broken, the land mourns. But thanks be to GOD, broken people can be restored. Only GOD can take shattered vessels and make them whole again.
When we speak of destroying wickedness, we must never confuse it with the state of the people.
Wicked systems are destroyed, but people are restored. The brokenness of a man or woman is the very place GOD chooses to show His glory. In restoration, dignity is renewed, purpose is rediscovered, and divine order is reestablished.
Restoration is holistic: it is spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, and financial. To make Africa great again, we must allow GOD to restore the whole person. The spirit must align with the economy. The economy must align with unity. Unity must align with the power within to carry out the mission.
It requires bold people who do not fear people, places, or things but reverence only the One who gives them life. They must be willing to die, knowing death is promised to everyone, yet willing to live in the fullness of divine purpose.
They are willing to move in the ways of the mission, completing the value of understanding that humility is the most divine asset. Boldness is the fire of breath that gives us life each day.
Nurturing is the demonstration of the love of GOD in the midst of all things. And the end result is this: GOD will get the glory from all of our story — spiritually, intellectually, mentally, emotionally, and physically, including financial resources — to carry out the whole mission.
